    What We Do

Clintonville Green Team is a volunteer-driven committee

    Community Events and Participation

We organize and show up to community or volunteering events, work days, local markets, festivals, civic forums, and get-togethers with resources about conservation

    Special Projects

Sustainability is a broad subject area covering the environment, energy, public health, civic engagement, and much more. As a committee, we are involved in a variety of projects, throughout Clintonville and nearby areas

    Advocating For Sustainability

We invite the community to make choices that will create a better future for our neighborhood and participate on the boards, working groups, or advisory councils of local organizations

    Outreach

We talk to neighbors, groups, students, businesses… pretty much anyone… about what it means to be sustainable and how they can get involved

    Gardens and Trees

We create, maintain, and support gardens in backyards and public spaces that support local biodiversity and beautify our world. We plant trees to enhance our canopy and improve air/water quality

    Cleaning Up Litter

We keep the neighborhood clean by removing trash from our public spaces. Almost anyone can help with this, anytime! Keep it clean, keep it green

    Our History

Columbus GreenSpot is a program of the City of Columbus Department of Public Utilities that promotes sustainability programs and practices throughout the city. Households, businesses, and neighborhoods can all work to become Green Spots. Clintonville became a GreenSpot neighborhood in 2019 thanks to a committee formed by the Clintonville Area Commission. Clintonville Green Team is a volunteer-driven community organization furthering sustainability in our neighborhood.
